​The phased renovation and lighting concept establishes a careful balance between electric and natural light, supporting views into and out of the library. A reimagined first floor accommodates a café, bookstore, event room and maker space, while the lower level contains the collaboration spaces and meeting rooms. The renovation meets the institution's Green Building Standards for Healthy Materials and supports the Library’s Healthcare Without Harm Initiative in furnishings and design.

10,000 SF addition providing a new café and 200-seat multipurpose space for the the University. This renovation and expansion created a welcoming, energy efficient and modern environment for students, faculty and staff as well as a new double height multi-faith space. This project is LEED Platinum certified.

Two buildings (#89/#99 East Dedham Street) at over 800,000SF and containing over 300 units each, located in Boston's historic South End. Scope of the project entailed lighting design for units, corridors, all exterior lighting and all amenity spaces including multiple level rooftop spaces and a pool on building 89. This building is LEED Silver and Fitwel certified.

70,000 SF of restaurants, take-out, cafes, a cooking school and an extensive marketplace. For this new location, the design was infused with a California aesthetic creating a timeless and modern atmosphere for locals and tourists. This project is LEED Gold certified.

Complete renovation transforming it into a modern student hub while honoring its historic significance. Inside. The reimagined spaces for dining, socializing, meetings, collaboration and inclusive learning environments were designed to recede when architectural details take center stage, while others make bold statements, adding energy and interest to the space. Renovation and expansion of two historic Boston seaport buildings. The office includes a two-story atrium entrance, break out rooms, meeting spaces and private offices. New lighting was chosen to compliment the exposed wood beams and decorative fixtures provide visual wayfinding throughout. A new cyber experience center features lighting from above as well as step lighting on each custom exhibit. The space is a fully programmable and controlled experience.

Remodel of a prime Newbury Street location to the first US flagship store to showcase product, apparel and showcase a 3D foot scanner. The backroom pays homage to the surrounding universities with millwork details, wile the fitting room laces/lighting installs provides a perfect instagram moment.

45,000 SF of restaurants, take-out, cafés, and an extensive marketplace. This unique brand required coordinating intimate dining lighting needs with retail and food service lighting in one open space. Areas are meticulously defined by color temperature, luminous intensity, and fixture style. This project is LEED Gold certified.

The lighting design is seamlessly integrated throughout, complementing the building's unique architecture, collaboration spaces and lab spaces. 30% of all lighting fixtures on the entire project have material transparency labels. ​Full library renovation and expansion ( from 22,00SF to 31,000SF) to improve access to technology and create much needed community and meeting spaces. The library’s daylight- flooded open concept floor plan helped inform the design and required an approach that would keep contrast ratios to a minimum while providing even illumination at night.

Full renovation to update original 1929 and 1987 wings, to help create an updated academic and social center on campus. The project created an integrated learning hub while balancing historic and modern support spaces with flexibility in mind.
Over 90% of the existing building structure and 50% of the interior materials were re-used on the project.

45,000 SF new office fit-out featuring a creative and high-end approach to functional lighting. Custom fixture designs include the the main boardroom (multiple custom designed drum pendants clustered) and the elevator bay pendant consisting of 57 ebonized oak illuminated "sticks". This custom design was achieved through a close collaboration with the lighting manufacturer and spanning 6’ across by 23’ long, is their biggest install to date.

synagogue - new york

brand new 10,000 SF synagogue featuring a 300-seat worship space of all wood with a 60x35 foot high window behind the altar. Scope also included a community court, and administration spaces.
Described a 'sanctuary in the woods' the lighting was detailed to compliment the views and abundance of natural light provided by the design.
