marlborough street residence
A French couple with a small child and extended family living in, inspired me to acknowledge their cultural influences in the design with the choice of materials and finishes. It was also important to provide communal spaces as well as moments of privacy in this blended family.
connections community center
The scope of this project included converting commercial office space into a community center. I wanted to connect the community with their food sources through food preparation and nutrition education. Key spaces include: indoor hydroponic and soil-based garden areas, tropical greenhouse, teaching kitchen, research library and associated support areas.
custom furniture design
My design intent was to extract the idea of the golden ratio as it occurs in nature and present it as art in its most basic form. 18”D x 24”W x17”H - steel and glass. 1/4" scale model was constructed from laser cut and etched acrylic to represent the glass. silver paint on acrylic used to represent the steel.
